Tennis Policies

Tennis Attire

The Club has a friendly tennis attire policy.  We ask that everyone wear athletic tennis attire.  Shirts do not require collars.  Men do require sleeves.  Please refrain from wearing  “gym and workout” clothing.  If you have any questions, please let us know. We try hard not to have a lot of strict rules at the Club.  Let’s keep it that way.

Registration

All players (members, their families and guests) must register at the Pro Shop prior to start of play on the tennis courts.

Reserving Courts

Courts may be reserved one week prior to play. Only one tennis session may be reserved per day. A tennis session will be 1 ½ hours. Tennis sessions will begin at 7:30 AM (booked in 1 ½ hour increments) and end at dusk. Any person reserving a court must provide the names of each player and specify whether the player is a member or guest. Members wishing to organize a special event or events should contact the tennis chairperson who will process the request and help schedule the event if approved by the Tennis Committee. Club events will be scheduled by the Tennis Committee.

The teaching professional may reserve courts for member lessons.

Guests

Members are responsible for the guest’s tennis fee. The fee will be charged to the member’s account at the time the member and guest register to play. Members must play with their guests. There will be no unaccompanied guests using the courts. Guests may play up to five times each season; Guests who desire additional play should be encouraged to become members of MCC.  Guest play is not intended to be an alternative to membership.

Reminder - Brush Courts After Playing

Please remember to allow enough time after completing your tennis to brush and line the tennis courts.  Allow enough time to have the next court reservation to access their court reservation on time.  Brushing and Lining takes about 5 minutes so please plan accordingly.  Thank you!

Court Reservations & Clinics Attendance

Members can reserve court and clinic reservations through our reservation system, yourcourts.com.

Find-A-Match

If you want to get on the court and don’t yet have a match or someone to play with, contact the Head Pro. We can connect you with someone at your level and arrange for a connection to have some fun on the court.
