PROFESSIONAL GOLF STAFF

Peter Weatherby

Peter is our new head pro and joins MCC from The Ekwanok Country Club, where he was the Assistant Professional for the past three years. He also worked at the Jupiter Island Club (FL), The Misquamicut (RI) Club and the Old Sandwich (MA) Golf Club. Weatherby brings a modern and refreshed strategy to MCC’s golf operations with a robust offering of game improvement for experienced golfers, clinics for beginners, and programs for young golfers. In addition, he will oversee new summer camp and family-oriented golf programs at MCC. Weatherby has been involved in instruction and all facets of golf operations over the past decade. His accomplished playing career includes first place finishes at the Vermont Sectional Championship in 2019, The Mountain Lake Challenge in Lake Wales, Florida in 2017, the NEPGA Stroke Play at Montcalm Golf Club in 2018 and NEPGA Stroke Play at Turner Hill Golf Club in 2016. He was also runner up in the 2019 National Rental Car PGA Assistant Championship, finished fourth in the Rhode Island Open in 2019 and had a top ten finish in the 2018 New England Open Championship.

Brett Lloyd

Brett Lloyd joined MCC in 2022 from the Glens Falls Country Club (NY) where he was learning golf course management. Brett helped with operations on the golf course, assisting GFCC into the top 100 golf courses in America in 2020. He is a Saratoga County native with a drive and passion for golf. While attending SUNY Adirondack pursuing his Associates degree, he joined the golf team with head coach Michael Carpenter, helping them win NJCAA regionals in 2018. He is currently working through the PGA of America program.

Jon Mandala

Jon Mandala worked at New Jersey National Golf Club from 2013 until joining MCC in 2023. At New Jersey National, he started as a caddie and worked his way up, first to Golf Shop Manager and, after completing his PAT, to Second Assistant. He added Director of Junior Program/Events to his responsibilities. In addition to golf instruction, Jon’s many strengths include event coordination, merchandising, and overall enhancement of the member experience.

Golf Lesson Rates:

Head Golf Professional $150/hour

Assistant Golf Professionals $125/hour
